The 2010 Forte raises the bar for comfort, roominess and convenience in a compact sedan. And if you crave more, Forte is available with some surprising extras – like leather seats, automatic climate control and alloy sport pedals.

On the inside the interior is also impressive. Especially for a Kia. The steering wheel is very attractive and nice to hold with a nice leather material not only around the wheel but in the center as well. Lots of steel trimming around the A/C and radio panel and some cool and easy to read gauges. Just an overall modern, sporty look on the inside. All of the interior is also made out of decent quality materials, which is a huge plus and a big improvement on the departing Spectra.

The Forte was designed to make everyone happy,The electronically controlled Sportmatic transmission is optional in the LX and EX trims while it is standard in the SX. The Sportmatic, while at some times feeling like it drags a little between gears and hinders your ability to accelerate as quickly as some would like, is a neat option that will save you ton gas mileage if you can overlook it's nuances.

LET THE PERFORMANCE BEGIN

The Forte is a mid-size 4-door sedan featuring Kia's new distinctive family look. It is available in three trims; LX, EX and SX. The LX and EX trims both feature a 156-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder and a standard five-speed manual, or optional four-speed automatic transmission. The SX features a 173-hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder and a standard six-speed manual, or optional five-speed automatic transmission The Forte comes nicely equipped with standard items such as; traction control, stability control, side and side curtain airbags, anti-lock brakes with brake assist, Bluetooth and a tire pressure monitoring system. Automatic climate control, leather seats, power sunroof, heated seats and a trip computer are all available depending on trim.
